Dear registered runners,

Please note the following important points:

1.   You have been allocated the numbers listed below for the 22km, full marathon and Ultra on Sunday 21 December.  They will be black on yellow background to distinguish you from the 10km runners whose numbers will be black on white background. Incidentally, as it is Shona Bendix's birthday, she has the number to treasure.

2.  Your race will start at 8:04am precisely - you therefore need to be at the start line by 7:55am with your running number on your running top and timing transducer strapped on your ankle or in the case of wheelchair athletes as affixed by the timing company.  This is to receive final instructions etc.

3.  Due to the race being on Sunday after the schools have closed, we were unable to secure the use of Beal School facilities this year. The race start will therefore be from outside the Hatton School & Special Needs Centre car park on Roding Lane South, (SatNav Ref: IG8 8EU), this is opposite the Spire Hospital on Roding Lane. As we will be using the small car for all race related activities you are asked to park on Woodford Bridge Road which is less than 100 metres away. This will also allow our wheelchair athletes a sporting chance of tackling the hill without having to negotiate parked cars - please be nice to fellow competitors.

4.  We will have portaloos but no showers on site - the Gurdwara (Sikh place of worship) at 400 High Road, Ilford has offered the use of their showers at their Annexe together with a free hot vegetarian meal after the event - it is approximately 3 miles away.

5.  The 10km race will start at 10:00am and runners are expected to be ready at the start line by 9:50am with your running number on your running top and timing transducer strapped on your ankle or in the case of wheelchair athletes as affixed by the timing company.  This is to receive final instructions etc.

6.  The awards for the first three males and females in the 22km race will take place at 11:00 am to allow most 22km runners to complete the distance although everyone finishing will get a finishers medal after crossing the line and getting marked off in the car park area.

7.  The awards for the first three males and females in the 10km race will take place at 12:00 noon to allow all 10km runners to complete the distance although everyone finishing will get a finishers medal after crossing the line and getting marked off in the car park area.

8.  The awards for the first three males and females in the full marathon race will take place at 2:00 pm to most of the marathon runners to complete the distance although everyone finishing will get a finishers medal after crossing the line and getting marked off in the car park area.

9.   The awards for the first three males and females in the ultra-marathon race will take place at 4:15 pm to all of the runners to complete the distance although everyone finishing will get a finishers medal after crossing the line and getting marked off in the car park area.

SITC Dawn To Dusk Ultra –Sunlight Run Registered Entrants - Sunday 21 December 2014 ENTRIES CLOSED

You will be receiving TWO further updates before Sunday 21 December to keep you informed of any developments and the final instructions will also be in your race pack you will receive when you pick up your running number on the day.
